Passage
July 15, 2008 at 3:25 pm (Gaming, Ramblings) (blah blah, games, life, passage, tags)
Time for my monthly post, I suppose.
For anybody who checks regularly or has my new posts sent to them, fret not, I’ll try and post more. It’s just that lately, since I’ve been writing a blog for money, I don’t really want to sit down and write in this one. Plus, all I would talk about is how great Wall-E is (really, really great) and how pumped I am for The Dark Knight (really, really pumped) and there are about three thousand sites that do that already.
So while I ponder what I could write here that could possibly be of value and orginal, I’ll offer you this…
Passage is a quick little game. It’ll only take you five minutes to play. There’s more to it, though, than first meets the eye.
After you download and play it at the link above, go here to read a statment about the game from its creator.

I think i either saw this game before or had a dream about it, but it is still pretty cool. I dont know how terrible it was supposed to look or if my resolution was set too high - but i didnt see any treasure chests he talked about in the statement. oh well- still good

I did see one treasure chest on my journey, but that was it. I tried going south a few times but after the first chest I never found anything worthwhile except obstacles. Eventually I just raced to the finish, enjoying the change of perspective and the gradual realization that the characters were aging. I get it. I loved it. It was really really cool.
=====But I Will Probably Never Play It Again=====
